This week I travelled to a lot of fun libraries in Colorado! I shared my Super Dog tales with the libraries in the Jefferson County library district. I rescued some cute sheep from a wily wolf by hypnotizing him! I convinced that wolf he really wants to eat grass and vegetables such as carrots, beets, and celery! I enjoyed our show in the beautiful town of Evergreen, CO. In between shows, my upright walked me around the lake. I was mesmerized by some uprights walking on water!!! Okay, so my upright, Denise, informed me that they weren’t really walking on water; they were paddle boarding. It sure looked like they were walking on water! I had a lot of fun at the beautiful Columbine Library in Denver. They also had a huge lake and park. My upright is very good to me. We took a nice walk around the lake and I even rolled in some grass that cooled my tummy! We also performed outside at the Platteville Library! The kids were fun there and I had an awesome stage upon which to perform! I enjoy performing outside, but sometimes the wind blows my chute around and I almost got stuck inside it!!! The audience enjoyed our Brave Dog show about hero dogs of WWII! We performed outside at the Bookmobile stop at the Fox Ridge mobile home park. Although the audience was small, they laughed a lot. It might have been because these squirrels named Woody and Chuck distracted me. I wanted to chase those chattering squirrels, corner them, and maybe teach them a lesson. After all, they were making fun of my Super Dog costume! How rude!!! But I listened to my upright and ignored them. It’s best to ignore bullies! But in my dreams I chased them, caught them, and tossed the one named Woody up high into the sky. He became a flying squirrel until he went splat on the pavement! Heee, Heee, Hee! He resembled a furry pancake!
